KEBA penned and pre-produced her new single, crafting its melodic basslines, rhythmic cadence and vocal hooks before finding the right collaborators to expand on her Caribbean Crossover vision. Producers, Maria Elisa Ayerbe and BASSTO, elevated her ambitious demo into a bold Afro-Caribbean Pop record that stands out from today’s Top 40. “FUN” blends mainstream pop with elements of AfroBeats, Dancehall rhythms and Calypso stylings to unveil KEBA’s unique voice in the International Pop scene. Her ability to bridge cultures and genres hearkens to Harry Belafonte’s cross-cultural appeal in the 50’s and 60’s.
